Come along our Jam session in June for a session of musical fun, creativity and freedom! Bring an instrument if you have one, and a gold coin donation. No previous performing experience needed: just a love of Jewish music.

Join us to see Blood Diamond, a 2006 political war thriller directed by Edward Zwick and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, set against the backdrop of civil war and chaos in 1990’s Sierra Leone. A South African mercenary and a Mende fisherman find their fates forever intertwined as they embark on a quest to obtain a rare and highly coveted pink diamond.

LBC Book Club – July

Join us for our discussion of Leah Kaminsky’s powerful first novel The Waiting Room – a multi-generational novel which unfolds over a day in the life of a young physician in contemporary Israel, who must cope with modern threats in the shadow of her parents’ horrific wartime pasts.

Soup & Service – July

Warm up to our new winter services: get physically as well as spiritually warmed and nourished to start Shabbat with a Soup & Service. Enjoy a hot mug of thick, healthy, home made soup and crunchy bread at 6pm, with an Erev Shabbat service at 6.15-7.15pm.
