We all bring a non-meat dish to share. Most months, as the meal concludes, a member of the congregation gives a brief talk about their life, their work or a special interest. Followed by questions and discussion, with the whole event lasting a little over an hour.
We occasionally have ‘Fine Wine/Fine Music’ presentation with the shared lunch. Members present music around a theme such as, ‘The Letter B’ (e.g Brahms, Beethoven, Bach ) or Musical Comedy, while another member presents 3-4 wines for all to taste while listening.
There is no shortage of interesting LBC members and the range of stories and variety of experiences that are shared help to build valued community and friendship. The Chavurah concludes with Birkas Hamazon (Grace After Meals).
