Israel Awareness Evening
Professor Anthony Luder is Director of Paediatrics at Ziv Medical Centre, Safed, saving both Syrian and Israeli lives. He will be speaking about Israel’s Response to the Humanitarian Crisis in Syria.
Professor Luder is actively involved with the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism and is in Australia as part of the UIA Progressive Trust Appeal.

Art Exhibition – Travel with Val
Our first exhibition for the year, featuring the works of LBC member Val, will be launched on Sunday, 18 February at 2.30pm at the Leo Baeck Art Centre.
Val has travelled widely and created evocative images of what she has seen in many different parts of the world. A selection of these oils and watercolours are available for purchase.

Guest Speaker Elisabeth Holdsworth is a former intelligence officer, psychologist, essayist, novelist, winner of the inaugural Calibre Award, Raft Fellow 2017, author of If This is a Jew and LBC member.
