Visitors of all faiths are most welcome to attend our services. If you are not Jewish, we suggest that you contact our office first, so that we can arrange to have some members of our congregation to greet you when you arrive.
[‘Services’ section]
Our weekly Shabbat (Saturday) morning service begins at 10:00am, and we generally end by midday. Following the service there is a ‘kiddush’ where we bless wine and bread and have a snack.
Throughout the year there are Shabbat morning services with different focuses. For example, during the annual Kew Festival we always hold a ‘Civic Service’ to which local politicians, clergy of other faiths and the general public are invited. We also have a special service annually to honour our many volunteers.
We have a variety of Friday night services:
* [Details of Soul Shabbat needed]
* [Details of Shabbat in the Home needed]
* Children are invited to our special Friday Night Kids activity, held from 5:00-5:30pm on the third Friday of each month. Come along and hear a story, sing Shabbat songs, and share candle-lighting and challah. This activity is aimed at children in the pre- and early primary school years.
