Join the LBC community as we celebrate the Festival of Sukkot! On Sunday 23 October come at 4:30pm and help us to decorate the Sukkah, enjoy the sausage sizzle and stay on for our short Festival of Sukkot service. On Monday 24 September join our Festival Morning Service starting at 10am.

HoS Study Session: Tuning the Heart

Maimonides talks about ‘Tuning the Heart’ – preparing ourselves to be receptive to the season of Repentance. LBC House of Study presents a study session led by Israeli student Rabbi Dahlia Shaham. Dahlia’s professional background is in international law, policy research and political risk assessment.

Fine Music Fine Wine September

Saturday 22 September, 1:00pm

Mannie Gross will present a single work by an almost unknown Russian composer who fled his homeland after the 1917 Revolution, never to return. It is full of beautiful melodies that will make you wonder why you have not heard it before. A selection of wines will be available for sampling.

S’lichot

Saturday 1 September, from 7pm

Join us for S’lichot, starting with LBCinema’s screening of an existential comedy-drama A Hologram for the King with Tom Hanks, followed by supper and an inspirational service with shofar as we prepare for the upcoming High Holy Days. This is a powerful and moving service which will conclude around 10pm.
